While the main page may be the "front door", no one hangs out at the front door. In fact they spend most of their time in the living room. The reason the forums were created in the first place was to distract all of the "if i take xxx, xxx, and xxx will i overdose?" posts being placed in the story queue, and comments. The main idea behind Smokedot is produce debate and conversation about the legalization/decriminialization of marijuana. We (Smokedot) won't earn much respect if we have a place for non-adults with bad grammer to post the "wow i'm stoned" posts in the forums.

Now that being said I am not completely against adding the forums back later on down the road once we start producing some great dialogue in the comment sections of our front page stories. That decision will be made when the time comes later down the road.
