Trooper Confiscates Medical Marijuana In Aurora

According to KGW, an Oregon state trooper confiscated marijuana from a medical marijuana patient near Aurora, OR. The trooper pulled over a Lexus for speeding and could smell the Marijuana when the car window went down. Although the "suspect" was a Oregon Medical Marijuana Plan registered cardholder, he was far above his limit of 24 ounces of usable Marijuana in the state of Oregon.
The 49-year-old driver said it was medical marijuana. The trooper found seven 18-gallon plastic tubs filled with marijuana – approximately forty pounds total.

It was being transported from a registered grow site in The Dalles to his Gervais residence, which is not a registered grow site, according to police.

The man was allowed to keep the amount he is legally allowed to possess, said OSP Sergeant Dale Young.
