Vancouver � So-called prince of pot Marc Emery will be back in court Tuesday asking for more time to work out details of an agreement with U.S. authorities to allow Emery to serve a prison sentence in Canada.
Mr. Emery said last week he'd reached a tentative plea-bargain agreement with the U.S. Justice Department over his Internet sales of marijuana seeds that would have meant he would spent at least five years in prison � most of it in Canada.

Facing a possible life sentence in the United States if extradited and convicted on charges of selling marijuana seeds to online U.S. customers, Marc Emery has agreed to a deal that would see him spend a minimum of five years behind bars in Canada.Thanks a lot "War on drugs" -- Free Marc!
Although the plea bargain is not yet "signed, sealed and delivered," Mr. Emery, 50, said that he expects to be heading to prison as early as March.
Should the five-year prison sentence be confirmed, it would be one of the harshest punishments in some years to be served in Canada for a marijuana offence.
