I have just ran across an article about Will Foster a rheumatoid arthritis sufferer.

The prosecution told the jury that Foster had to have intended to distribute marijuana because his small indoor garden was producing the equivalent of 2,652 joints, far more than a single person could consume. Ed Rosenthal, a marijuana cultivation expert, testified that the yield would be at most 600 joints, a proper amount for a medical patent who uses marijuana as medication on a daily basis.

I have been paying attention to the Political Parties that have anything to say about Medical Marijuana.  The reason I have been paying attention to this started because of getting involved with MPP.Org.

Two weeks ago I found out that my Uncle was Diagnosed with cancer of the esophogus.  They did tests and found out that it has spread all over his body.  He was told that he has 6 months, or maybe a year with chemo treatments.  I went up to visit this weekend.  Last week he had his first treatment and was not doing to well.  It was a very rough weekend, he was sick all weekend.  I talked to my Aunt yesterday and she said that he has told the doctor that he will not take any more treatments.  He told them that he would rather die in 6 months than wish he was dead for a year. 

I know this is not a typical Smokedot post.  This doesn't really have anything to do with Marijuana but I figured since I just received these statistics I would share them with you.  This is not something that the Media will let anyone know about.  If anyone knows about the way the Media bends things to benefit themselves it is those that are against Prohibition of Marijuana.

Governor Spitzer has been reaching National News lately.  This is all due to the new law in New York he has been trying to get passed to proposal to grant driver's licenses to illegal immigrants.  This although has been dropped has been a very sensitive subject for me.  I have written many letters and forwarded many article's to Senate Majority Leader Joseph Bruno on this subject and he has responded in kind to me on all of the issues I am having with Governor Spitzers first term in office, from this drivers license to medical marijuana and even the treatment of Veterans here in NY.

I have been using the closest Medical Veteran Hospital for my Chronic Pain for the past 6 months.  The VA has come out with a new policy where they treat pain as a normal vital check.  So in other words, whenever you are seen at the VA hospital they take your blood pressure, temperature and ask you to rate your pain. 

The United States Government has done research on Marijuana in the past and has thrown out many research topics because they prove the benefits of Marijuana. There have been Studies funded by the US Government that have encouraged the citizens to question the current laws.
