Well guys if you know anything about me then you must know that I have been battling an addiction with opiates for well over two years now. I used to believe that roxicet was my girl, and that she could get me through anything. After finding an amazing girl that really can get me through anything I realized that I had to give up the opiates. They were draining my wallet, and complicating my relationship with my soul mate.

One night after two days of not being able to score my cousin handed me a suboxone and told me that it would help me get through the withdrawals. I always reference any pill with Google before I take it. If you read through the forums you will see a few posts where Jack told me that I should find a doctor and get on suboxone permanently. Well two days later I was in the doctors office explaining my addiction to him while being completely honest. I told him that I had taken a suboxone the day before and that it help with my cravings. He gave me a two week prescription to suboxone and told me to look up NA meetings in my area and start attending them.

Here I am eleven days after I stopped taking opiates and I am completely stable on my suboxone and I feel like I'm on top of the world. I've attended two NA meetings with a friend of mine from work, and I honestly don't want to go back to where I was. You never realize how draining having an addiction is. Not only do you spend all of your money on drugs, but you also spend all of your time, and energy looking for them. My bank account looks a lot better than it did almost two weeks ago, and I have never gotten so much done at work and around the house.

If you are battling an addiction I can not tell you that you need to quit. You have to be at your low, and absolutely want nothing more than to make your life better. While I'm still an infant in a sober world, I would be more than happy to help anyone out of that hole called addiction. Here is to many more days, months, and years of being sober.

Phusion, Wix, Xtapolapocetl, TokerKing and myself have been working hard to get Smokedot up and heading full steam ahead. I want to make this goal as public as can be and I think that it is definitely setting the goal high while keeping it realistic. I'm sorry about the ugly ass theme guys but I had to get away from the default Drupal blue. This theme is in the extreme alpha stage as i plan on getting rid of the ugly ass teal right and left bars, and getting us a new logo to place top center. If you think you are up to the task of making the log PLEASE get in touch with me as none of our admins have an artistic bone in their body!

I do understand how ugly it looks at the moment so if you are a registered user you can change back to the "garland" theme under your account settings.
